Response Time

The latter term, when referencing LCD television sets, indicates the time that passes as a liquid crystal cell is activated to the time that it becomes inactive and back again.  Response times are measured in measurements of milliseconds.  The faster the response time is on a television set the sharper images are and the better quality images are in high motion/action scenes.
