Form Factor

Within a computer’s housing, the term form factor directly describes the arrangement, size, and configuration of a specific hardware inside the computer housing.  The term form factor might describe the case of the computer or the computer chassis.  The term form factor might also describe special components inside the computer device: one example would be a daughterboard.
