Additive Primaries

July 2, 2009 by admin

Additive primaries are combinations of red, blue, and green (primary colours) to create additional colours. The additive primary combinations yield cyan (green and blue), magenta (red and blue), and yellow (green and red). A common application of additive primaries is in desktop printers, which use additive primaries to create dozens of colours in printed images.
